Position Summary
We’re seeking a New Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and forge strategic partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing prospects, and closing deals that align with BIMI Certifications’ long-term objectives. As a remote member of our team, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure a seamless experience for potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, research, and engage new business opportunities within target industries and markets. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through networking, referrals, and other prospecting methods.
Consultative Sales Approach: Conduct needs assessments and deliver tailored presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of BIMI Certifications’ services. Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with prospects, clients, and strategic partners to drive recurring revenue and long-term partnerships. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to ensure consistent messaging and a smooth onboarding process.
Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging opportunities in the email authentication/brand protection space.Use insights to refine go-to-market strategies and differentiate BIMI Certifications in the marketplace.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Set clear KPIs, track sales metrics (lead conversion, deal size, sales cycle, etc.), and provide regular progress reports to leadership. Continuously optimize sales strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
Strategic Input: Work closely with the leadership team to refine pricing models, product positioning, and overall sales strategy. Identify and advocate for new features or services that meet evolving customer and market needs.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or related fields, ideally in SaaS or technology services. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
Sales Expertise: Excellent prospecting, pipeline management, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with CRM tools and best practices (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of email authentication (BIMI, SPF, DKIM) or cybersecurity is a plus, but not required. Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts.
Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a persuasive and engaging approach.Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and cross-functional teams. Analytical Mindset:Skilled in analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Comfortable interpreting sales metrics and making data-driven decisions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
